Yeah, been there. (no, not your brother in-law's house)

The bike didn't fall down, but it took some serious effort to get the side stand out of the semi-cured asphalt. I think the rear wheel may have been a bit off the ground initially.

I wouldn't argue that the flat piece is better or worse than the piece I have shown. But I like the idea that the side stand is sort of contained by the side walls of the drain pipe piece. It means that the side stand cannot - under no circumstances - slip off the circle.

A squashed soft drinks can is good in an emergency.

The best side stand support is whatever your left foot can reach and either drag or kick to yourself when you've just parked, gotten off the bike, and realize that you are in that "Oh crap" situation while still holding it up.

I use this more for the Goldwing than CB. It’s a lot easier to position under the kickstand while sitting on the bike as well as remove and fold.[Image: 4b0a201aabbc224b957442f7fc0462a8.jpg]

Where did you find that stand enlarging foot for your side stand? I've always run them, but can't find one for the CB. Thanks!

I’ll have to refer that question to John Houtman. It was already on the bike when I bought it from him.
