Tire Options for our CB1100
Again, I find it curious that Bridgestone's US website [url=https://www.bridgestone.com/products/motorcycle_tires/products/detail/pr141/]offers the T31 but no one seems to be able to get one. I ran one set of them and would use them again if I could't get PR3s or the Angel GTs (which are still on trial for longevity; they're just fine to ride on).

I really need new tires on my 17 1100ex. I’m still on the originals and I’m at 12000 miles. They actually still look pretty good but I know I’m probably on borrowed time. I’m so confused about the tire situation and I don’t have clue what to buy. Would someone please give me link to some reasonably priced tires that will fit this bike? I’ve been happy with the originals so any tires that are similar in composition to those would be great. I’m assuming a sport-touring type of tire. I really appreciate it. This whole hard to find size along with the tubed tire thing has my head spinning. I just want to get tires and ride!

I changed the tires on my 2017 at 7031 miles , not totally worn out but wearing down. After looking at different tires I opted for another set of the OEM Dunlops's as I really liked them. Not cheap but no regrets . I also put new tubes in to be on the safe side.

Honestly I’m happy with them myself I just don’t know where to get them

Would your local Honda dealer have or get them? Or one of the online suppliers? For example, if I look at Partsfish, there are tires and tubes and no suggestion they’re not available.

If you google “motorcycle tires” you’ll get a slew of sites. Be leary of eBay, Amazon and other similar sites. Their prices sometimes reflect the age of the tires they’re selling. It is best to ask the vendor what the date code is for the tires you’re interested in. If they give you a song & dance about how they have too many locations to be able to know; shop elsewhere.

Not recommending any particular dealers, but here’s a few to look at.

Dennis Kirk

Revzilla
https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle-tires

Chaparral
https://www.chapmoto.com/motorcycle-tires

Bike Bandit
https://www.bikebandit.com/tires-tubes/m...-tires/t11

Rocky Mountain

I’m sure others will chime in on their favorite & recommendations.

One other note. If you’re ordering from Japan; there’s a 4-8 week delivery.

I got mine thru my local Honda dealer ( MR in Asheville ) had them in two days. It still might be a dealer item only.

The most recent set of BT54’s that I ordered from Dennis Kirk were 8 months old. They would have been fine even if they had been 3 years and 8 months old.

Thank you all much appreciated! My dealer is still closed and I got a bit overwhelmed looking online. Didn’t want to get the wrong tires

If you're getting the OEM tires, the specs will be in the owner's manual that came with the bike.
