The helmet lock doesn't close enough to prevent the helmet from being removed, even with both metal catches from the helmet on the hook. Thought there might be some type of adjustment for the travel....couldn't find any. Possible that the lock tab got bent somehow? Hesitate to try to bend back.
Probably some silly thing I'm overlooking.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

That must be an SC65, pre 2017. My lock looks entirely different. But one suggestion ... why don’t you use the hook hidden under the seat on the other side ? You have to remove the seat every time, that’s true, but otherwise it works just fine.

After looking at mine, and yours again, it appears that yours is broken. It is missing a plastic piece that goes from the rear to where that curved part of the lock tab is. You can see where it broke off in your picture. That curved section of the metal tab goes into the plastic and thus prevents helmet removal. Well, except it is plastic and looks like it can be easily broken off.

Yeah, helmet locks has always been like some sort of rotten cheese. There is no point engineering them to be more durable than cutting a helmet strap.

I see that now.....thanks. Truthfully, not that concerned about someone stealing my helmet. I just remove the Bluetooth module and carry it with me. I usually just leave the helmet on one of the mirrors.
Didn't know about the lock on the other side....thanks again.
