2014 CB1100 dlx price?
#11
Nick, congrats, that's a great find. In my experience trying to sell my DLX, I think the price is a bit rich, but it is a dealer sale, not a private sale, and once you've owned the bike for a few months you won't give it a second thought. It's quite a jewel of a motorcycle. Enjoy!

I wonder if the said crash sliders are useable as momentary foot rests?

Good question! I’m only 6’ but when I sit on my rebel for extended periods my knees are aching! I’ll have to keep that in mind

I have Moriwaki sliders but I don’t think they work well as foot rests. There are a number of engine guards available. From Honda, or aftermarket pick your poison. Let us know what you decide on as ONE brand is dangerous. Those, and I can’t remember the ones, will lever your bike off the wheels in a good lean. Happened to a member.

Others will chime in after Christmas. Is kinda slow on the board now and some of us are nog posting. Not me though. Nooooo not me. Smile

Yea, I have Sato Racing sliders and you definitely cannot use them as footrests.

I have foot pegs on my Honda engine guards that fold up when not needed ,most of the time they are up, but work well to give your knees and hip some relief. The seat and riding position on this bike required them .

Oh boy. Looking at the actual bike this Saturday! Can’t wait to finally see it in person. I was watching this YouTube video on the CB1100 and the youtubers bike pegs scraped the ground a bit. Does anyone have this issue? By no means am I into knee dragging or anything crazy like that but will that get in the way of normal riding.
Oh and what does everyone think about 2 up on this bike? Mind you this bike I’m looking at has a Corbin seat - not sure if it’s even a 2 up.
If anyone has a cheap stock seat or knows someone who has one up for sale let me know!
Thank you
