I'm thinking about risers. I like the idea of fully adjustable, pivoting risers like the [url=http://www.amazon.com/Rox-Speed-FX-Pivoting-Handlbar/dp/B0041PXMIM/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top?ie=UTF8]Rox Speed FX 2-inch pivoting risers. The only downside of that would be a near certain need to reroute cables and get a longer brake line. Price is good, though, at only U.S.$61.

Maybe just go with the [url=http://www.genmarmfg.com/shop/universal-risers/universal-risers,-7-8-bar-style-handlebar-risers-1-up-detail.html]GenMar universal risers (U.S.$76) to see if that does the trick? No need to reroute or extend based on what I've read here.

I put the Rox 2 inch adjustable risers on two nights ago and the lines and cables on the right are pretty tight.

It was dark so I just left everything loose. Can you get a longer brake line from the master cylinder to the front disks? Seems complicated.

It's a shame because the risers place the handlebars in a much better position.

I adjusted the Rox 2 inch riser in the daylight. They are not a breeze without a stubby allen wrench which I made.

I avoided the tight brake line issue by rotating the master cylinder for the front brakes and clutch.

Feels pretty nice and I must say the adjustable risers offer a lot of variability in sitting positions.

Next ride, I will take the allen wrenches and fine tune the handlebar position.

George

If possible, I would be very interested in seeing a photo of your rotated master cylinder positioning.

Yesterday I installed the 2" ROX risers and really like them. I had 2" solid risers installed before but wanted something to bring the bars a little closer to me. The cable seem to be loose enough from full right to full left on the handlebars. I was able to tilt the bars back towards me and and am satisfied.

I used the Bike Masters risers. You can choose your height. I decided to go conservative with 3/4 inch rise, as the brake cable seemed stressed with a full inch (though everyone says 1" is just fine). They were $36.95! However I must warn you that none of the bolts length options that came in the package worked. Can't remember what length, but I had to get slightly shorter bolts than the shortest offered. The shortest would have worked with the full 1", I think.

Chapomis, which risers did you buy for the CB?
