I ordered some engine guards from Samurider. Working with Takashi Takase was easy and the guards were shipped yesterday. He provided me with an EMS tracking number however can any of you who have dealt with Samurider tell me which US carrier will be delivering my package? I have never heard of EMS so my guess is that USPS, UPS, FedEx or one of the other carriers work with EMS for delivery in the US.

I tried looking at the EMS site but could not find an answer to my question. I also thought about asking Takashi this question but felt he may not be aware of the local carriers within each country.

Anyway, your reply will be appreciated.

The USPS does a pretty amazing job on these priority shipments. If tracking shows a package arriving in New York, the pretty, young mail lady delivers it to my front door the next day.

same here , the local post office delivers the box with goodies, you probably have to sign for it.

Not in San Antonio. Here the grumpy old mail b*tch sticks a "we tried" in your mailbox and makes you drive to the post office, preferably right before a postal holiday.

Sometimes USPS, sometimes DHL.

So far its been the USPS for me.

Know that once it hits NY the tracking is over.

My experience: Once it gets to the airport in Japan, its about a 14 hour flight to NY (ask me how I know...) then it usually clears customs FAST and like was said above, shows up at your door (which you can get at Home Depot, LOL) either the next day or the day after.
