I worry about cable length and have no idea if the cables were lengthened a tad in the 2014 so I'm happy to see you have the 2013. However, I would like a bit of pull back

I installed the $75 item. They work great. No more shoulder discomfort. No problem with the cables.

Just wanted to drop a note; I installed the sw-motec riser barbacks on my 2013 CB1100. I didn't notice any fitment or clearance issues. I'm also 5' 11" and didn't care for leaning forward that much after a couple years decided to go for it. LEH.00.039.152.S s for silver.

Thank you so kindly. I received seven replies for the Gen Mar risers that I was offering for $10 and had no way to delete the post, so I simply obliterated it. Thanks to everyone who contacted me. Sorry I only had one set available.

LongRanger, I must have missed your post. We don't allow members to post items for sale in regular threads. Had I seen it I would have had to delete it. We have a section for selling stuff, unfortunately at this point you are a few posts short of using it , but all you had to do was post a few times and you would have been eligible. We have these rules in place for the protection of our members (including you).

Great, ordered it, so if it doesn't fit, I now have someone to blame! (And isn't that what it' all about in today's world?)
Thanks

OK, got the risers. First observation. The existing bolts holding down the handlebars are tightened to ~80,000 ft/lbs (I thought I was going to have to get a breaker bar for awhile!)

Anyhow, I was able to install them with one issue. The front brakeline was a tad short. Now for my question. In the middle of that brake line is a grommet that fits into a clip welded onto the frame. Removing the brake line from that clip gave me enough slack to install the risers. I placed the line back in the clip but, of course, the grommet is now above the clip. It seems like the grommet should be able to slide down the brake line as there is about 1" of the outer cover cut away to accommodate the diameter of the grommet. If it does slide, I can slide it down enough to reclip it. However, it did not want to slide down easily and I was afraid to exert a lot of pressure for fear I could damage the line. So two questions. First, should I be able to slide that grommet down the brake line? (If so, is there some trick?) Second, if the grommet is stuck where it is, thoughts on if and how to secure the brake line in the clip?
Thanks

That grommet will slide down. I had to move it when I put my clipons on. It takes a lot of effort to get it to move. I used some Silglide spray lube and got under it with a long small pick to stretch it (making sure not to damage the line) and move it down a bit.
