Finally got some pics after getting her back. The fabricator lopped off everything from the cat back and built a custom 4 into 2 exhaust.

In addition:

Sato Racing rearsets and custom fitment
K&N drop in
Guhl Motors reflash
02 sensor delete

Very happy so far with the changes, specifically the sound which is incredible. I previously had a Yoshi RS3 slip-on which was nice, but I felt the sound was always a bit too mild for an 1100.
Looks great, I especially like the black fenders

Thanks! I had the fenders powdercoated last winter. I also picked up an LSL chainguard to replace the plastic OEM one and had that powdercoated at the same time with the same color. I'm not huge on chrome, so I also painted the swingarm pivot caps, and wanting to keep the stock lines/looks, I also painted the chrome OEM tail light housing in black.

Thanks!

It tucks up against the bike nicely with the stock footpeg/passenger peg brackets deleted. Really streamlines the bike IMHO.

That is a pretty "lean" lookin' CB1100 Nova. Nice and tight indeed. Thumbs Up

The power of dreams!

Yeah, agreed.

From the rear view at least, it looks mean.

I also hate chrome lol, did you paint the fenders yourself or did you have it done? I have a roll of 3M gloss black vinyl wrap in the garage I was gonna wrap the fenders so its removable I just haven't gotten to it.

The front fender will take 15 minutes.. that taillight though on the rear will be a PITA

Thanks guys! Appreciate the props!

I'll take some closer pics of the exhaust and post them as well. The fabricator/builder is absolutely outstanding, and his welds are works of art in themselves. While he was working on my bike, he just finished a KZ for a client and that bike was just recently in PipeBurn. He also finished a CB750 which was exceptional as well. I got a pic of them together I will also share.

Mvk24 - I had the fenders powdercoated by a company here in VA, ASCO. I've used them a lot over the years for tons of motorcycle parts and several sets of wheels for my car and truck. I did rattle can the taillight housing myself though since it is metal over a plastic frame and couldn't be PC'd. I sanded, scotchbrited, wiped it with degreaser, washed, then dried it thoroughly. Then used several coats of etching primer and gloss black. Finished it off with two coats of clear and hand buffed it out. It came out pretty good, I guess my OCD pays off at times haha

Oh and yeah, the rear fender is a bit of a pain. The taillight wire snakes through the fender, its very clean but disassembly and reassembly is a little time consuming.

Haha nice! I'm the same way it i do it i have to go through the entire process to do it the right way so I wanted to avoid paint.

I just did the vinyl wrap to the headlight brackets and it came out looking like the factory did it. Theyre pretty simple and flat thought.

I did a carbon vinyl wrap to my KZ440 tank on the third rebuild and that was a whole different story.. again because I'm anal and had to get every single wrinkle out. That took about 2 days and 2 attempts each because my buddy melted the wrap on me halfway through the tank lmao
