Hello!
Last few rides I have noticed that my fuel pump randomly gets loud, and it makes a screeching noise. It only happens when I initially hit the kill switch before starting the bike. It has happened when the bike is cold or after a ride. The bike runs great and she is quiet while riding. Any input would be greatly appreciated!!

I've noticed that the noise that mine makes varies. Sometimes I'll start it and it's loud and I kill it and restart it and it's quiet. Makes no sense to me.

Yes, that is exactly what is happening to mine. Not sure if I should be worried or just let it be.

I never use the kill switch to turn off my bike, only the ignition key. Never heard a peep from mine. Wonder if that has anything to do with it.

lets burn a few pages on using the kill switch for non emergencys. Personally I only use the key.
I'd take it in for warranty repair before it leaves me stranded somewhere.

It happens randomly. Maybe 2 to 3 times in 20 rides – never back to back.

That is really hard for mechanics to chase down. Maybe Honda will just authorize a new fuel pump. Keep us informed.
