Another Arrow issue lol, cant get baffle out
#1
Hey everyone, im having issues pulling the baffle out of my arrow slip on. Knocked off the welded tab, pulled snap ring out, but for the life of me i cannot get the baffle out. I sprayed a little WD around the seams to help lube it up but it will not come out. It pops out a hair and will rotate but i just cant get it out. Anyone else experience this? Any suggestions? Thanks again!

No such issue with my Staintune, but I did have issues with removing the baffles in some Hard Krome pipes, and the best way to wiggle them free was by sticking a broom stick or other wooden handle down the central core and walking the baffle out a hair at a time with a lateral, back and forth movement. If the central core of the Arrow baffle won't allow that, a smaller, appropriately sized dowel may be required.

Hope this helps!

Hey Gumby yes it did thanks! I used a 1.25 inch dowel rod , 4 footer. Lubed it up again and basically moved the dowel rod counterclockwise in the baffle hole and just held the exhaust pipe with the other hand to let the dowel rod have more of an affect. Did it for a couple minutes and didn't think it was working but then i noticed the lip of the baffle out slightly further than before. So i kept it up for a few more minutes and it finally gave. Man what a nice little workout. I just didn't expect this on a new pipe vs an old carboned up/rusted pipe. Anyway, cant ride because of the weather but i got the reaction i wanted starting it this time vs with the baffle in. Def has the tone i wanted. Cant wait to run it on street, thanks again!
