Replaced front brake pads for 1st time at 20K miles

Speaking of pads, has anyone here done EBC pads?

Just curious, cause honestly the braking on this bike needs nothing, I'm so happy I ended up getting a non ABS model

Hopefully you never have to wish that you would have had ABS brakes !

I replaced mine recently with EBC pads. Seem every bit as good as original and cheaper.

FWIW I've been using EBC on several bikes with good results.
I fitted an EBC kit of disc and pads to my Bonneville front wheel and there was an improvement in braking.
It wasn't a difference in night and day improvement, but enough to make it worthwhile.

I use EBC Sintered on all may bikes. They, in fact, last longer than OEM and have a better "bite" due to the materials used. They also resist heat better from my experience. They will, however, wear you rotor more due to more friction from the compound of the pad.

TBH I haven't changed the CB's pads yet as I've only got 9K on her. When I do I'm not entirely sure I will change the front to EBC Sintered as it has enough "bite" as it is. The rear will be changed over.
