The 2017 has a longer sidestand? The stand on my 2014 is way too short (leans way too far). I'll buy a new one if it's longer.

No way of knowing how much difference another stand will make. Why not just add a metal plate to the bottom. The local welding shop would likely have a scrap piece if you don't. You can try different thicknesses, and have it heli-arced in place for a fraction of the cost of a new stand. If you have the right size piece, I'm guessing maybe $20 range for welding.

I owe Alprider a lunch. Thanks to his tip I ordered a 2017 stand for my 2014 and it's worlds better! The short stand that came with the 2014 had the bike leaning so far that i never used it. The 2017 stand is perfect! The bike looks 100% stock, too. Thanks!
