Can't you find a higher/better output bulb?

Stumbled across a thread this morning talking about this bulb (http://www.cyclopsadventuresports.com/H7..._p_86.html) which got me thinking about LED bulbs.

Appears that our bikes need an H4 mounting, which I presume would mean this one... (http://www.cyclopsadventuresports.com/36..._p_83.html).

I actually have one of these. I put it in my 750 initially but it was a disaster because the headlight housing was so old and poorly made to begin with. I bought a Cibie European spec housing along with and Osram 70/65 watt offroad lamp to go with it. I believe the number is 64205. I checked all of this out with Danial Stern lighting before I did it. I have had no issues with this setup in around 6K miles give or take although on the Bonnieville forums they are reporting a short bulb life of like 5K or so.

The difference between stock and the above was dramatic. IN fact, it was so good I never put the led module back in but still have it.

I have only ridden the 1100 once at night and felt the lighting was pretty decent. 10 times better than the 750 stock but closer to even now but I give the edge to the 1100.

I really should try the led module in both just to see if there is any improvement.
