Just a coincidence: Talked to another friend yesterday who just replaced the fuel pump in his 2008 Suzuki GSXR750. He told me he purchased a fuel pump for a Honda Civic at one of the local automotive discount parts stores for about 1/4 the cost of the Suzuki pump. He swears the pump was identical and installed easily. I am willing to bet if you removed the fuel pump from a Honda CB1100 and showed it to a knowledgeable auto mechanic or parts counter guy working at one of these discount auto parts stores, he could tell you which Japanese automotive fuel pump would work - and save you a lot of $.
