I think they are stainless steel like all European EX wheels. There is no need to oil them. Just keep them clean. And do yourself a favor. Add one item to your personal preventive maintenance list. Every time after a few thousand kilometers do check very, very carefully "every single" spoke head from close up. There have been cases were they crack right at the bend, barely visible, one after another. This can over time - as one rider in Germany found out - turn into a very ugly accident.
