That is because it is a failure indication that needs repair.
You may just need to reseat some connectors. Maybe the meter connectors, etc. Might be a serial data bus problem or whatever. Not much help there, huh? But I haven’t looked into this as my bike doesn’t have that or all the data display you have.
When did the problem start? Did it start after you did something, like add a farkle or have the tank off or headlight open, etc? If so, go back and check everything for proper connection, no bent pins, pinched wires, etc.
