Cormanus i think if i am going to post any more links in the future i will post both systems and thanks for the explanation, made perfect sense to me.
Chris Harris has some nice tips but as most of the posters makes mistakes too, by reasoning most can be corrected.
One of those is the effect of scoring the alu rim with a non protected tire iron, not good with moisture and salt on the road over time but refreshing to see the bead breaking/setting procedure.
Individual methods vary with skill , available tools and frequency of tire changes.
Wondered too if the removed metal would equal the weight of some valves and had my doubts about this claim, appreciate your explanation how that works, a fine detail for sure
The main reason for posting was to jog someone's memory when they made the same mistake, give the symptom and the explanation why, similar to " when the neutral light dims during startup its time to replace the battery"
