I wonder if the price difference has to do with which side of a motorcycle is more likely to get tip over damage: the right side ? or the left side ?
If the left side is more likely, say due to a higher probability that someone forgets or is sloppy about putting the sidestand down on the left side before letting the bike down, then you'll sell more left side blinkers than right side so you can sell the left for a lower price than the right and still get a fair return on the manufacturing cost ?

Parts prices are different for each country/distributor. It has more to do with the fact American Honda doesn't have the manpower to review/fix anomalies like this. Honda Canada and UK show comparable prices from left to right.
