Same layout as the NC700X and CTX700 DCT models. That left thumb is relied on for a variety of functions - horn, high/low beam, left/right turn, downshift, emergency flasher, and gripping the bars. Too bad one of the functions, say downshifting, couldn't be done by, say, the left foot pushing down on something.

Is everything in life to be controlled by our fingers? Maybe the entire left hand and right hand switches and levers and control should be replaced by pushing buttons on our phone. Perhaps the screen on the phone would have the image of where we were headed. Or better yet, "Alexa, downshift twice and apply brakes".Sad
