I'm sad to say, however that i probably won't buy another set. it seems i can only find very old stock. this tire, for example, was made in 2012. if i continue shopping for them i imagine i will find even older stock.I have taken a few rides with the PR 4 and really like them , even better than the PR 3 but of course going from a worn PR 3 to a new tire will make it ride better . The Continental Trail Attack rear tires are 90/10 ( 90 road/ 10 off road ) I very much like them but would not use them as a front tire.
This means it's time to finally decide on a new set of tires. i'm big into symmetry, so i'd like to avoid mix and match sets. The original bridgestones I hated. I don't like what i've heard about the mileage wear on Metzelers and Pirellis, Continental has a lot of good tires, but Houtman's Trail Attack 3 looks like it's part dual sport, and i don't think they make the proper front tire for our bike. If you're not running Michelin Pilot Road tires and you're getting excellent high mileage with good confidence in the turns, what are you riding?
