It also seems fairly simple to change the color of the bike, since it's really just the tank. Given the costs and lengths many are going to personalize theirs, having to paint the tank to suit a personal color preference doesn't seem to be all that much an impediment to buying the bike.

I happen to really like the red, especially the awesome quality of the finish.
