Mindful this is pure speculation, does anyone think there will be updates or changes to the CB1100 in the upcoming new model year? I'm mindful that 2014 was the year of the DLX, then 2017 for the EX . . . so following that pattern 2020 may be a big year for the Honda CB1100.
What are you thoughts, opinions, hypotheses?
My dream would be for the version in the photo I am attempting to attach. :-)
Thanks!

That's a great-looking configuration!
Changes? I keep wondering if the displacement will increase to keep the power up in the face of European emission regulations.
The #1 change I'd like to see is from Honda is to go back to the future and install tubeless tires on cast rims.
Better yet? 17" rims for vastly improved tire selection, quicker tip in, and ~1/2" lower seat height to throw a bone to us short guys. Maybe get the pegs up and back a little to retain banking angle.

There's a lot of great jokes here about rumored changes, but the truth is that the 2020 models are not changing a whole lot it seems. However, they did recently file patents for a very different version of the CB1100 with a monoshock, a cleaned up tail and a much lighter exhaust. usually when you see a patent for something it means you won't see it on the market for about 5 years though.
