My wife and I were riding in the PNW when we passed this sign in Washington I believe near the Snake River in Hell's Canyon? just outside of Idaho Rt 12 maybe?

and this is the road we were on (great road btw)

anyhow we were on the ST with a 7.7 gallon gas tank good for 300 + miles. I looked down and I was on 1/2 tank (150 miles fuel left maybe?) and I thought what if the next station is closed I wouldn't have enough fuel to get back so I turned around and went back a couple of miles to last town and filled up.
