Thanks David. You just saved me a few quid.

I had trouble finding the CKP connector on my 2014SAE until I checked the service manual - it's on the RIGHT side of the bike. 

The connectors on the left hand side look promising, but don't use those by mistake. They're for the side stand and the emissions sensors.

I bought a kit online to connect up and program the key. I know you can make one yourself pretty easily, but I just wanted it sorted asap. It had the 2 pin shumitomi connector.

Key (35121-MGP-D01): £30 (eBay UK)
Cutting: £2
Cable for programming: £20

Here is a photo of the connector for the next person (lift the indicated tab to disconnect).
