Or something else is at fault.I too have used those type, with this project.I doubled up thr thickness of copper wire, into the pin end,(having already slid some shrink sleeve onto the wire) used fine pliers to bend the tabs over the pvc sleeved end, then bent the tabs down onto the doubled wire. Once happy "crimped" on. Slid the shrink sleeve down, just before the tab, that locks the pin into the connector and heated to shrink and help keep locked on. It worked for me, having no crimp tool specifically for these tiny pins
So I ordered another connector block that had pre-installed connectors with wires attached, and will try that as a last resort. These new multi-pin connectors would mean I need to get a new crimp tool, and the tiny terminals, and not inclined to do that quite yet.
