You'd think Colorado would be a "green" state, but it's far from it. Most everyone drives an Audi or huge jacked-up F150 on steroids. The gorp-eaters drive Subaru's. I don't even know what a Mirai or Clarity is. Gas here is cheap, about $2.50/gallon, so there's little incentive to drive electric.
My last commute when I lived in San Diego, twenty years ago, was an hour to go 11 miles. I can't imagine how horrible it must be now.
