GPS mounted at handlebar

Mine came with this ram mount, too. I used it to mount the device at the handlebar of my BMW. But there was a switch panel, which covered this ugly mount:



Also the screw was locked by the panel, so nobody could loosen that mount.

At my CB I wouldn't like this:

1. it's ugly (to me)
2. anybody could dismount it, when motorcycle is out of sight
3. it builds to high at the CB, so the device is too close to my face (as others in my age may know, there are issues with the auto focus at near distance)
4. it's better, to have the device close to the instruments, eye must not change focus

That were the reasons, why I looked out for another mount and bought this nice one.
