I've read too much about k&n air filters letting too much dirt pass through. I don't trust them and use stock for everything. Some guys like em, just not for me.

I have never heard that one. I have been using K&N air filters for YEARS with no ill effects. I have never seen dirt getting passed them either. Besides....the filter media in K&N filters is finer than the stock paper elements anyway so the physics makes no sense for them to allow more dirt than a stock paper element.
To each his own. (don't want to start an oil type war).
