I'm eastern orthodox, we don't have last rites like the western church but the priest comes out to annoint, perhaps hear a confession, and pray. It wasn't good, another was there with the same thing and was dead in 6 hours. Less than 50% survival rate at best depending on how soon they get you in the ER. When I arrived by ambulance they were running around sticking iv's and saying they had an half hour. After I was sent to critical care, that's usually where cardiac arrest happens and the end comes.
