I think I may have been the first to post regarding heavier weight oil. I believe some bikes may have tighter passages than others and creates a lower knock in the motor. The same thing happens to Ford 5.4 Triton motors, running heavier oil creates a upper end block which blows head gaskets. Your bike may run fine but the oil is much thicker than 10-30 coming out of the bottle and @ temp.
