If you do not have an air compressor you can use WD40 to undo the glue and slide the grips off, But remember to clean off all the WD40 wish soap and water (I use strong dish soap) before reinstalling and of course clean up the bars too.
A neat trick I use to put the grips on is to use 4-6 zip ties inside of the grip which will help slide in the grip with less friction and once its in there you pull the zip-ties out one by one and boom! You got your grips installed.
