...in this case (limitation), you may spray WD40 onto brake lever and span adjuster - moving parts, applied brake lever several !!! times, good wipe off to dry and see if it gets back to normal (no disassembly required) = few minutes job/very simple and basic. Do NOT spray WD40 on anything else, please.
