17 T front sprocket

For me, the original 18 makes a little bit too long transmission overall at my 2013 (5 gear). On typically small or 2 lane roads here, if I let it run, I'm almost only in the 2. gear.

I'm talking about canon carving, not highway (or Autobahn).

Has somebody else here the same feeling?

17t was definitely best investment i have made. Wakes the bike up, much more lively. At 110km/h in 6th revs went from 3100 to 3250~ so no big deal in long run - in the lower gears the torque multiplication is much better - less lurching from gear to gear - nice harder launch - and you can really let the bike idle and ease the clutch out and it will pull away with no stall - when two up - full box - don't have to slip the clutch and that makes for a happier partner -

the 17t front sprocket was the best 20$ i spent on this bike. it is now smoother upshifting and downshifting, less jerky at lower speeds (i guess the engine likes running at a little more revs than i had been shifting/riding at) and actually has less buzz in the bars at highway speeds. in the end, the bike still hits the limiter before it stops pulling, and a change in fuel economy wasn't noticeable, so i don't see any negatives.

on a similar note, it also accelerates quicker now--anyone who has ever driven a stick shift car for something other than commuting will attest to this fact.

I found all of the above when I did the change on my 2016 - should have been the standard on the bike at the start
