well that's that then. test rides are successful. nothing is falling apart. I guess I can button up this thread with a picture.

She certainly breathes now. I haven't yet ridden enough to feel the effect on my gas mileage, but the pickup is much more aggressive, and the power band is much more sharply defined. There's a strongly noticable boost in power over 3500rpms and the 0-60 is actually kind of alarming now. on top of that, it is LOUD. I mean it was open before but with the cat gone it is savage and grumbly. the decel sounds like a deep dark thunderstorm.
Next step: Sprockets. I already have them, so it's just a matter of making time to get them on. god knows how awful that will be.
