Fueling and Air overhaul imminent. looking for any advice

I have a great relationship with my local Yamaha/Honda dealer but I worked for them from 1972-1974, and have known, worked with, and raced mx against the current owner since he was 14 (about 45 years I think), attended his wedding, Christmas parties at his house, his wife's 40th birthday party and bought 10 motorcycles and an ATV from them. Their head mechanic has been working on my stuff for about 25 years. If I don't show up at the shop for a couple of days, he calls or texts to make sure I'm alright.
