I have used Honda GN4 10W40 many times and had average satisfaction with it, especially when the oil was fresh.

I also used Motul 5100 10W40 many times and it is a joy.

This year I am using Rotella T6 5W40 and so far Confused the shift and engine sound (quieter) has been fantastic, possibly a better experience than the Motul 5100.

T6 is their full synthetic correct? Good to know. I was referencing the standard conventional diesel oil that's normally a few dollars for a gallon at Walmart. Most of the guys swear by it on older bikes specifically the XJ600s but now I'll be adding Zinc Phos to the oil Smile
