Hey Peter,

Thanks for the recommendation! I always use ear plugs, but they don't help enough at speed with the EX shield. I am finding that a few other riders have had success with the MRA extension and am considering that too. If you add the Wunderlich, let me know how it goes.

I added a sidecar windscreen for Rudi, but he hasn't yet said anything about its effectiveness. ; )

Judging by his behavior, I'm suspecting that Rudi may be experiencing turbulence issues, though. He seems to lie down more quickly now, possibly to escape increased wind blast. I may either have to remove it and see if he behaves differently, or get someone to drive the rig with me in the hack so I can experience it.

IMHO there is no perfect shield that makes all bikers happy.
But I am happy with my NC Street Shield EX.
For noise, I always use ear plugs. There is some turbulence or buffeting around my head at higher speed but for me is acceptable.
I am also considering adding Wunderlich Vario-Ergo extension . These are available in clear and smoke:
