Thanks EmptySea. I thought about a deflector. I'd be curious to find out which one other riders have had success with.

Lowering and changing the alignment of the fork clamps and minimizing the angles of the connecting bars seemed to do the trick. The windscreen now sits closer to the headlight, looks perfectly symmetrical and was completely stable at 70 - 75 mph.

After my 30-mile commute home, I'm really not sure this is the right windscreen for me, though. I'm just over 5' 10" and the wind is minimized on my torso, but substantially noisier at helmet level. I have to bend forward and down to get into calm air and that isn't something I want to do for any length of time. I notice that when I stand on the pegs the clean air is much quieter than when I am in my normal upright sitting position.

I've read a lot of the windscreen threads on this forum and get the impression that it is tough finding an ideal solution. I may try something else as I'd like to have something to help reduce wind fatigue on longer trips and am open to any suggestions. Thanks!

Back in 2013 when there was a lot of experimenting going on with this new bike, we discovered the the best height for a windshield that protected the body but didn't cause turbulence or buffeting was either 10 1/2" or 22" above the ignition.

Forum member CIP was the first one to cut down a NC Street Shield EX and I followed his lead. You may want to try cutting yours down a bit before buying something else.

The Dart and Dart Marlins basically do the same thing which is why they are so popular.

Here's mine NC Street Shield EX cut down 5 1/2" iirc

If I don't hear from anyone about a deflector that's worked for them, I may give it a go since the screen doesn't really work for me as is anyway.
