Sadly if someone wants your ride (motorcycle, car, truck, whatever) badly enough then they will likely find a way to take it. in the case of multiple motorcycles sitting around, the more difficult you make it for them to steal your bike the better the chance that they'll steal another motorcycle instead. Sad any way you look at it.
I have a small disc lock that I use along with a coiled tether that straps to the lock and over a hand grip. This fits neatly underneath my seat and I use it anywhere where I might be concerned about theft. The bright orange tether not only reminds me that I have the disc lock attached (you DO NOT want to forget this) but it warns others as well. It is not foolproof, someone could always just lift the bike into the back of a truck, but that would definitely take some extra effort and more than one person.
