Seems like you guys never got the Honda HISS system like we did in Australia. I had a look at the wiring diagram and it looks like you only need to join those 2 wires from the ignition switch. I would be locking the steering. It will only keep the honest thieves away unfortunately because if they really want to take it they will figure out a way. Mine has HISS, steering locked and lives in a locked garage.
