Ask if apt has video on premises. If so, ask them to post a sign that say so right by your bike. If they say no, buy or make a sign that says “These premises are under video survaillance” and post it by your bike.

I also think out of sight is best so even a cheap $25 pull over cover from Walmart will do what any cover will do—keep that initial thought of “cool bike! I think I’ll steal it” out of thief’s mind.
