Hello All,
Recently bought a set of Pirelli Sport Demons to replace the factory tires on my 2014 CB1100. After mounting the tires, I brought them to a local motorsports dealership to have them balanced. After retrieving them I was told the rear tire balanced fine but the front tire took 3 oz. to balance out. He then told me that this is almost three times the required weight to balance an aluminum, front motorcycle wheel. They then rotated the tire 180 deg. and it still took 3 oz. to balance. I bought the tires through Bike Bandit and reached out to them and Pirelli. Bike Bandit told me to contact Pirelli and Pirelli told me to contact Bike Bandit. Took the bike out, since it needed to be moved to another location, and no issues or vibration ever came from the front tire even up to ~80 mph. Should I stick with this tire or attempt returning it?
Thank you,
