83 degree valve stems
#1

Yesterday, while getting new brakes and tires on the CB I had these aluminum Ariete 83 degree valve stems from KurvyGirl.com installed in my rims. Makes checking tire pressure and airing up the tires so much easier than the factory oem rubber stems. Facing to the right, when on the side stand, they stick up and out, making it easier to get my gauge/air chuck on.

They come in all sorts of fancy colors too (but I chose black like the stock ones)

Nice! Are they metal, bolt on style? Come time for tires I might get the same thing.

I love the Ariete 83 degree valve stems; I have them on my CBR. My Trophy came with similar valve stems, stock. First tire change on any bike that doesn't come with them gets them for me.

My Tiger came standard with similar valve stems and set to the right to make checking pressure a pleasure.

Sparky had a Vulcan 900LT that had the rear stem oriented left. With only a side stand, checking pressure or airing the tire was an act for a contortionist.

Always slightly annoyed when using the factory ones. I'll be making the switch. Thanks!

Pirelli (well the tyre shop), gave me a Pirelli set when I bought my Angels. As I brought the wheels to them there was no fitting charge. Despite the freebies I am sure they were not weeping, "I lose, I lose!", as I walked away.

Cheers

I don't understand why they're not standard on all bikes really. Must get some.

Don't wait until you need rubber to get them. Have them in your tool box for when it's time to get new tires. Your shop will install them at the same time they are doing your tires. You don't want to double pay for labor of pulling wheels.I've had mine for over 3 months waiting until I needed tires.
