Handlebar Type II

I dropped my CB last week and feel like my bars are a little bent. Nothing too bad. I saw on samurider the Honda type II bars. I was thinking of replacing mine.

IS there anywhere to buy these other than getting it from Japan?

They are not available in the US to the best of my knowledge. But they are great, and I highly recommend the mod. Takashi would have them to you right quick, I bet.

Honda bars (like those from Samurider) really are the way to go, since they have the correct notches, center mount width, etc. for the bike, but if you're in a rush, or don't want to/can't pay the price, Chaparral in San Berdoo has about two dozen different bars in stock that would work that you can physically look at and compare rises, sweeps, etc., with, in addition to both black and chrome.
I used them to mod my Triumph Bonnie - I think I have at least half a dozen different shapes on my shelf!

If you just want to replace your stock type I handlebar, I have one that you can have for whatever it costs to ship it to you. I also have a Flanders superbike bar that is a bit lower than the type II Honda bar, but you would have to drill the holes for the control pin and bar end weight. You can have either for the cost of shipping, if that will help.

Handlebars are one of the most important items on your bike. They allow you a perfect fit and feel designed for you. I found some K&N bend (I'm an old K&N fan) black handlebars that slope down on the ends, that feel right for me. I think I went through 3 bar changes before I found the ones that I settled on.
