Oil and filter

I have a 2014 standard. It is time to do an oil change. Does anyone know one site to get the filter, oil and drain bolt washer that are specific to the bike? Thanks!

There are many on-line sources. The one I've used for years is Chaparral Motorsports in San Bernadino, CA. I imagine Partzilla would also have what you need -- they're good too.

I bought 20 drain bolt washer from my local Honda dealer for 50 cents each.

I seem to remember Ferret advising the purchase of the washers from Honda automotive. it's the same part , but they sell for less than half the price.

Some of the ones on ebay were a little thinner or the sizing was off and did not seal all that well

Hi, I'm planning to perform an oil change myself (first time) on my CB1100. Could I get the drain plug washers from Home depot - if so could anyone tell me what size I'm looking for? I do not have a powersport dealer close to where I live.

Also, any recommendations on a oil filter wrench - I was planning to get an adjustable wrench from [url=https://www.harborfreight.com/locking-oil-filter-wrench-66568.html]Harbor freight.

Won't talk about the oil I plan to use - I know what happens to those threads :-).

If you don't have a dealer nearby, I recommend ordering the OE parts on-line. See the recommendations above. As far as the oil filter wrench, I will give my testimony to the Honda wrench (P/N 15010-MCE-H51). It's well built and the butt end works perfectly as a CB1100 front axle removal tool. Money well spent in my opinion.

You may order the oil filter together with a wrench, Honda order# 15010-MCE-H51. You need a 17mm nut to drive the wrench.
