2018 air filter

Havnt attempted to get into the filter box yet , but externally this looks to be a different type of filter to what the earlier CB1100s have (round filter)
Can anyone advise please?

That’s the 2017 parts diagram, but I suspect the 2018 will be the same.

As far as I know every year uses the same filter- we didn't get a 2018 here, but the 2017 which is the same as far as I know is the same filter-
