Only difference is the color of one of the wires - blue instead of orange. Rears are also differently priced, though more closely priced at $56 and $48. Just weird.
Hmmm.. puzzling.
I wonder if the price difference has to do with which side of a motorcycle is more likely to get tip over damage: the right side ? or the left side ?
If the left side is more likely, say due to a higher probability that someone forgets or is sloppy about putting the sidestand down on the left side before letting the bike down, then you'll sell more left side blinkers than right side so you can sell the left for a lower price than the right and still get a fair return on the manufacturing cost ?

Parts prices are different for each country/distributor. It has more to do with the fact American Honda doesn't have the manpower to review/fix anomalies like this. Honda Canada and UK show comparable prices from left to right.

No, it's just that Americans are more clumsy than Canadian and UK riders and are constantly dropping their bikes off their sidestands compared to riders in Canada and the UK (ha !)...
That's interesting that the prices would be off like that !

Apart from wiring colour, are the two signal lamps otherwise identical??

Well the lens screw is on the bottom (normal). So if you used the (example) left light on the right, the screw would now be on the top and you would have one screw up and one down.
The wire lengths MAY be different, IDK. I’d have to check the spare ones I have.

Thanks. Worth knowing for the future.
