Pit Bull Rear Stand
#1

Since (most) of you guys have a center stand, this may not be all that relevant to you (I don't have a CB1100; I ride a CBR250R).

Nevertheless, I just want to give a testimonial to the absolutely BEASTLY build quality of the made-in-USA [url=https://www.pit-bull.com]Pit Bull motorcycle products. There may be other applications where you may have interest.

I have suffered for years with some kind of low-rent imported rear stand (maybe Harbor Freight, maybe eBay) that I only use for wheel removal and chain slack adjustment. Over time, it has started to deform. Now it pushes the swing arm together, making wheel installation difficult, and always feels like it might collapse and dump the bike. Also, it doesn't even hold the bike properly level.

So, I sprung for the exorbitantly expensive (or so I thought) [url=https://www.pit-bull.com/busa-rear-motorcycle-rear-stand-zrx-zx14-ninja-1000-f0082a-000]Pit Bull rear stand, cost USD $195 delivered. What arrived absolutely blew me away. It was WAY more stout than I would have imagined. I was shocked at the gauge of the tubing and the overall bada**ery of the thing in every respect. This is a very serious piece of hardware.

Right: Awesome

By the way, I have used two of their [url=https://www.pit-bull.com/wheel-chock-f0017-000]wheel chocks for years for my trail bikes, and have noted they are bulletproof.

When I worked at a Ducati dealership, Pit Bull stands were all that we used, for a good reason. They're insanely well built and easy to use. That said, I've never dropped the cash on one. The "Trackside" branded $55 rear stand I got from Cycle Gear years ago has been sufficient for the multiple bikes that I've owned. Though, if I ever own a single side swingarm bike, I would definitely get a Pit Bull stand for it.

I had the exact stand when I owned an SV650S. They are rugged indeed.

I have the Pitbull front fork leg lift stand for my CB. Using it along with the center stand gets both wheels off the ground for storage and maintenance. I added spools to my Monkey, and have Pitbull stands front and rear that I use with it When it comes to reliable rock solid stands, it is one of those "you get what you pay for" things.

I've had them for years and they work great particularly on sport bikes.
