| Front brake and brake light problem |

Last night I was out in the countryside riding on roads without streetlamps and I noticed in my mirrors that using front brake wasn't making my brake light come on. At a stop light or stop sign I can squeeze the lever hard enough to make the light come on, but while moving that amount of brake is only used in highly spirited riding. I think I see what actuates the brake light, but I don't know how to adjust it. Does anybody encountered this before?
I would like to mention that I did a search on the forum and couldn't find anything on this issue. If this has been discussed could somebody please direct me to the thread?

OK, I'm on the way for the 9th trip to this magical place, now on stopover in London to visit a bud. I'll land tomorrow, pick up my rental motorcycle, and the adventure begins. Marshaling in Bray Hill come Wednesday, and my two mates from NJ join me over the weekend. Would love to hold a CB1100 rally at the TT one year, and I've got the drill down pat for anyone wishing to do this.
I'm also covering the TT for motorcycle.com again, and here's my first column. There are links, in blue, throughout the article to some of last year's columns as well. Stay tuned for much more over the next two weeks.

I live in northern NJ and would like to trade my 2012 Triumph Tiger 800XC for a 2014 Honda CB1100DLX. Are there many used bikes out there that fit this description?
Any forum members who live in my neck of the woods that I could meet up with?
Are dealers likely to have brand new 2014 DLX's that never sold?
Thanks!
Though my preference is to trade with another owner to avoid the cost of buying brand new. Thanks for any suggestions.
