I read today that Germany has extended it's ban on large scale events until August 31st. Doubt we will see a MotoGP season this year.
The shutdown is lengthened for another 2 weeks. After this period the government will make new decisions. Larger events are not allowed for a longer time, that's right. There are a lot of ideas of how to find the way gradually back into normal life, while sailing the Corona ship only by sight as each other country do.

Large parts of the BRP closed because of clean up after big storm on Monday. Plenty of other nice roads around here in WNC.

A follow up to Houtman's post. Now, the BRP appears to be closed from Blowing Rock, all the way south to the end. Bummer for those of us who've been waiting since the Fall to get back up there to view the Spring Blossoms!

There still is a small section open called the Asheville Corridor . I was told the BRP was closed for tree removal after the big storm we had on Monday. (?)

I've been helping out here and there at my friend's small car repair shop. He's got another friend, a Catholic priest, helping as well. Father Doug is on call to provide an Anointing of the Sick (formerly referred to as Last Rites) at rest homes in Orange County. He's had to leave a few times, and with the virus, he has had to stand outside the person's window, and administer the blessing through the person's window.
